About the Role
Were looking for a highly product-driven execution-orientedEngineering Manager to define and own the technical vision for how users onboard and activate through our Marketplace Experiences. As a Manager within the Match Success team leadership bench youll transform the way we work envision and deliver experiences to our clients and providers to connect seamlessly and form long-lasting care relationships.
Youll build a team which will architect and deliver the next generation of marketplace authentication services booking notifications and activation experiences. This role operates at the intersection of product engineering provider success and quality. You will bring clarity to ambiguity drive technical strategy and scale a high-performance engineering culture with a founders mindset.

What Youll Do
- Define and own the long-term technical and product visions for core Marketplace Experiences.
- Oversee the re-architecture of scalable backend systems that support high-volume matching transactions availability management and operational workflows
- Design and evolve our conversion flows including authentication booking and applied AI patterns.
- Continually improve key marketplace flows such as appointment management notification cancellation handling and authentication flows.
- Develop operational frameworks for planning prioritization incident management and delivery excellence.
- Use data deeply by instrumenting systems measuring impact and optimize marketplace performance and provider-client matching success.
- Lead and mentor a high-performance engineering team raising the bar for technical execution communication and problem-solving.
- Create AI levers for development flows such as documentation operations and architectural guardrails to ensure consistency quality and efficiency across the engineering lifecycle.
- Advocate for both client and provider experience needs translating insights into technical investments and roadmap priorities.

- 4 years of engineering management including 2 years leading product engineering teams
- Demonstrated strength in product engineering deeply understanding user needs and shaping delightful high-quality experiences.
- Strong architectural and technical sense - able to define a vision influence direction and drive execution.
- Proven ability to deliver complex ambiguous projects that span multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Highly data-driven mindset comfortable with experimentation measurement and optimization.
- Exceptional communication and cross-functional leadership including influencing non-technical stakeholders.
- A track record of multiplying talent mentoring engineers and creating high-performance environments.

Role Details:
- Employment Type: Full-Time Exempt
- Base Compensation: $225000$300000 USD annually
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid with required in-office presence Tuesday through Thursday at our New York City San Francisco or Seattle hub. This role also includes travel 23 times per year for company and department offsites.
The base compensation for this role will vary depending on several factors including relevant experience qualifications and the candidates working location.
