The Information Security Engineeris responsible fordeploying integrating and supporting security tools and solutions that protect the organizations cloudon-premises and hybrid environments. This rolefrequentlyleads engineering efforts contributes to the development of security standards provides operational support and collaborates with IT and business stakeholders toidentify mitigate and remediate security risks.

*This role will be Hybrid (2-days a week in office) and it is required that you are located within 50 miles of our Corporate Offices in either Mendota Heights MN or Loveland -person attendance is expected to foster collaboration innovation and team connection.

Security Engineering & Operations

• Oftenleadsthe deployment integration migration and initial engineering of security solutions and enhancements to existing systems.

• Accountable for engineering and supporting cloud security technologies includingMicrosoft AzureandMicrosoft E5 security solutions(Sentinel Defender for Endpoint Defender for Cloud Azure AD andanti-phishingtools).

• Proactivelyfacilitatesestablishing baselines for monitoring systems and applications forsecurityrelatedissues.

• Assist the Security Operation team during incident response and work closely with the team toensure that alertsandrules aretuned to reduce false positives whilemaintainingcoverage for relevantthreats.

Security Monitoring Incident Response & Analysis

• Monitor daily operational health of all security tools and platforms.

• Manage tool generated alerts investigate anomalies and troubleshootoperationalissues.

• Assistsin problem and incident resolution by analyzing and triaging event/system logs such as network security antivirusfirewall WAF and web proxy logs.

• Supports the prioritization and resolution of alerts service requests and incidents; occasionallyassistsjunior teammates with prioritization and troubleshooting.

Security Governance Standards & Collaboration

• Key contributor to the creation documentation and maintenance ofsecurity standards processes and procedures.

• Collaborates with IT and Business stakeholders to prioritize security risks provide mitigation or remediation recommendations and implementappropriate securitycontrols.

• Contributes to security enablement efforts and supports ongoing IT Security strategy and initiatives.

Platform & Certificate Management

• Provides operational support for security platforms including:

• SIEM/SOAR

• EDR/XDR

• IDS/IPS

• Email Security platforms

• Certificate lifecycle management (public and private certificates)

• Firewalls and web proxies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in security Technology Engineering ora relatedfield;or equivalent work experience.

• At least 3 years of experiencein information technology cybersecurity or information security.

• Hands-onexperience with the following:

• Microsoft Azureadministration and security

• Microsoft E5 security stack(Sentinel Defender suite etc.)

• Real world experience supporting and operating key security platforms.

• Current understanding of modern security best practices cloud security principles and security frameworks.

• Ability to workon-calland after hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Security industry certifications (e.g. Security AZ500 SC200/300 CISSP GSEC etc.).

Travel &On-Call

• Travel: 05%

• On-callsupport as necessary

The compensation range for this role is below.

$85000 - $110000

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount could exceed this range based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market) experience and skills.
