Job Summary

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a highly experienced Pega Developer with a CSSA certification to lead the development and integration of complex Pega applications. The role involves designing implementing and supporting scalable enterprise-grade case management and integration services within regulated environments. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating robust reusable and high-performing solutions that streamline case workflows enhance system integrations and ensure compliance with organizational security and governance standards.


Software Requirements

Required:

  • Pega Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification (mandatory)

  • Extensive hands-on experience in PRPC (Pega Infinity version) development including case types flows stages and SLA management

  • Proficiency in PRPC integration services including Data Flows Data Sets and external system integrations

  • Experience configuring and debugging Rule utility functions complex reports and reporting solutions

  • Technical expertise in Kafka integration including Data Flows Data Sets and external messaging system integration

  • Knowledge of Queues Job Schedulers Listeners and Portals for enterprise applications

  • Familiarity with CI/CD implementation of Pega solutions through tools such as Jenkins Azure DevOps or similar


Preferred:

  • Experience with API management and microservices architecture

  • Knowledge of security features and best practices in Pega (e.g. security roles audit logging)


Overall Responsibilities

  • Lead the design development and support of case management solutions and integration services using Pega PRPC

  • Develop and optimize case types stages steps SLAs and approval flows to support complex processes

  • Configure and debug Rule utility functions and reporting to ensure system reliability and performance

  • Integrate Pega applications with external systems such as Kafka REST APIs and legacy platforms

  • Collaborate with business teams architects and security teams to ensure compliance and security standards are met

  • Conduct code reviews enforce best practices and promote reusability across projects

  • Support production incidents with root cause analysis and timely fixes

  • Support version control and CI/CD pipeline integration of Pega applications

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and technical innovation in case management and integration solutions


Technical Skills (By Category)

Programming & Rules (Essential):

  • Pega Rules (PRPC) development including case types flows stages SLAs and UI rules

  • Rule utility functions report configuration and debugging


Frameworks & Integration:

  • Data Integration services: Data Flows Data Sets external system integration

  • Kafka REST APIs and legacy system integration


Databases & Data Management:

  • Oracle SQL Server or other relational databases supporting case data

  • Experience with report design and data validation queries


Cloud & Security:

  • Basic knowledge of deploying Pega solutions in cloud environments (AWS or Azure preferred)

  • Security configuration user access controls and audit log management


Development & Version Control:

  • Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD tools for build and release management

  • Git or other version control systems


Experience Requirements

  • 5 years of experience managing PRPC case management solutions in enterprise settings

  • Proven experience implementing integration services (Data Flows Data Sets external APIs)

  • Demonstrated success supporting large complex and secure case workflows in regulated environments

  • Experience configuring and debugging reports rules and security modules

  • Experience working in Agile teams with continuous delivery practices


Day-to-Day Activities

  • Develop configure and support case types flows and SLAs supporting enterprise workflows

  • Configure and troubleshoot Rule utility functions and report issues

  • Lead integration efforts including Kafka REST APIs and legacy system interfaces

  • Conduct code reviews performance tuning and security validation

  • Address system incidents and perform root cause analysis for continuous improvement

  • Collaborate with business analysts and architects to clarify requirements and optimize solutions

  • Support system migrations upgrades and deployment automation efforts

  • Document system configurations integration points and best practices


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field

  • 5 years of hands-on Pega development experience with PRPC (version 8) in enterprise environments

  • Pega CSSA certification is mandatory

  • Proven experience supporting secure scalable and high-performance case management solutions in regulated industries

  • Strong understanding of security classification and audit features within Pega
