About Us

RPI LLC located in Green Bay WI is part of Premier Outdoor Living (POL) an entrepreneurial manufacturing organization producing high-quality products for the outdoor living space. POL operates three distinct businesses: Spa Cabinets HDPE Lumber and Outdoor Furniture supported by three manufacturing facilities across Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.


This position will support RPI LLCand be based onsite at our Green Bay facility.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in supporting and advancing HR operations while partnering closely with leadership and employees. This position serves as a trusted advisor on HR policies employee relations compliance and talent processes. The ideal candidate brings strong operational HR experience sound judgment and a hands-on approach to fostering a positive compliant and high-performing workplace.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

HR Operations & Employee Relations

  • Serve as a liaison between employees and management providing guidance on HR policies procedures and best practices.

  • Interpret administer and ensure consistent application of company policies.

  • Handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism confidentiality and sound judgment.

  • Investigate employee claims related to discrimination harassment or retaliation; conduct interviews assess risk and partner with leadership on appropriate corrective action.

Recruiting & Onboarding

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts including sourcing interviewing testing selection and onboarding.

  • Partner with hiring managers to provide guidance on candidate selection.

  • Support temporary staffing agencies including hiring coordination and employee conversions to RPI payroll.

Payroll & HRIS

  • Administer bi-weekly payroll including timecard processing record maintenance and reporting.

  • Maintain accurate employee data and approve transactions within the HRIS to ensure data integrity.

  • Prepare reports for leadership and required federal state and local agencies.

Compliance Safety & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Support safety initiatives including training OSHA compliance accident investigations and safety team participation.

  • Partner with operations to promote and maintain a safe working environment.

  • Manage workers compensation claims and related activities.

Benefits Administration

  • Support employee benefit programs and provide assistance with benefit-related questions.

  • Educate employees on wellness initiatives and benefit offerings.

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Manage employee terminations documentation exit interviews and unemployment claims.

  • Support maintenance of employee handbooks policies and procedures.

  • Train employees on new or updated policies and maintain training documentation.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Skills & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR Generalist experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Payroll administration experience required (UKG Pro preferred).

  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality.

  • Experience developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures.

  • Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint.

  • HRIS experience required (UKG Pro preferred).

Work Environment

This role operates in a manufacturing environment where noise levels are moderate to occasionally loud. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hearing protection is required when in the plant and meets OSHA standards.
