Job Description
This is a Temporary Position. To ensure the cafeteria is well-maintained. cleaned and stocked at all times ensuring the cleanliness presentation and freshness of all food items.
Responsibilities
- Control quality and consistency of all food served.
- Insure station is set for service 15 minutes prior to service.
- Insure all food supplies necessary for service are in appropriate supply on timely basis.
- Assist in controlling food cost.
- Required to learn all menu items produced by assigned station.
- Refrigeration and serving of cold food.
- Maintain cleanliness of cafeteria at all times.
- Insure food is refreshed and well-presented.
- Insure the cafeteria is well-stocked with eating utensils condiments and other supplies.
Qualifications
- Must know how to use essential kitchen equipment.
- Must have good communication skills ability to stand and walk for 8 hours a day a flexible schedule the ability to learn food handling sanitation storage techniques.
- Must be engaging and friendly and have customer service skills.
- Hotel experience preferred.
- Food handler certification required upon hire.
Temporary Position until 4/27/2026
Pay Scale: $35.78/hour
