About this position

The Accounts Payable Manager provides leadership and management direction for accounts payable functions for North Memorial Health and various wholly owned subsidiaries and joint ventures. The Manager directs and oversees the daily management of the accounts payable staff and processes associated with the payment of invoices ensuring the accuracy of the entire process as it relates to vendor payment processing invoices and payment of invoices and communication with buyers and 3rd party back-office providers. The Manager ensures policies and procedures are being adhered to as they pertain to accounts payable. Finally the Manager ensures accuracy and integrity of management financial information.

Requirements

Education

Bachelors degree preferred in Business or Accounting or applicable experience

Experience

Experience
Minimum 5 years management experience.
Accounts Payable healthcare experience in transactional environment.
Minimum 2 years managing purchasing card program and T&E program experience.
Experience working in a medium to large health care system a plus
Oracle experience a plus
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated leadership interpersonal organizational communication negotiating problem solving skills performance improvement and tax compliance/reporting skills
Understanding of financial internal controls as they relate to Accounts Payable function
Attention to detail thoroughness and organization
Must be able to handle multiple tasks within an established timeline; ability to research and resolve problems with high attention to detail
System development experience.
