About the Opportunity: Production Area Manager Manufacturing Operations
As a Production Area Manager your mission will be to lead manufacturing operations ensuring high productivity safety and quality. Youll drive operational excellence by managing teams optimizing production processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership Optimization & Process Excellence
- Lead the production area team to meet KPIs and align with organizational objectives.
- Implement safety health and environmental standards in line with company policies.
- Manage production plans machinery and workforce scheduling to meet output targets (MPA & OTIF).
- Support the execution of strategic initiatives including lean manufacturing and process improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement projects (e.g. SMED TPM line balancing cost reduction).
- Monitor and enhance equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Ensure effective utilization of available resources and manage production budgets (OPEX & CAPEX).
- Maintain quality standards and ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Build team capabilities through coaching training and performance evaluations.
- Promote a collaborative environment motivating team members and fostering innovation.
- Track deviations perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Control material stocks finished goods and department assets (machines tools lines).
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience in production management or industrial operations.
- . in Mechanical Production or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in team leadership process optimization and performance management.
- Strong problem-solving decision-making and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems KPIs and continuous improvement tools.
- Excellent communication and team-building abilities.
