- 2nd shift: $21.76/hour (includes 8%-night shift premium)

As a Quality Auditor at Caterpillar you will:
- Perform quality inspection based on the check- list of inspection points/procedures
- Complete inspections using a checklist and tooling provided (static tools dry leak testing Cab electrical tests templates etc.)
- Perform overall quality inspection at quality gates or at pre-delivery inspection.
- Use lifting devices to move heavy components of weights of more than 35lbs
- Inspect products to ensure it meets the specifications
- Gather data from various tools and tooling systems and document quality issues into a computer system and flag defects for repair
Basic Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):
- Willing and able to stand for prolonged periods
- Willing and able to perform repetitive operations
- Willing and able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Willing and able to pass eye exam for visual weld inspection
Top candidates will also have:
- Intermediate proficiency (Basic skills/knowledge. Capable of functioning independently) with Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Intermediate proficiency in SAP software
- Previous quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with inspection and product auditing processes
- Intermediate proficiency with measurement equipment and gages
- Heavy equipment machine assembly experience with tractors or excavators

2nd Shift Schedules:
2nd Shift MHE Fabrications Line: Monday-Friday 3 pm 11:10 pm
2nd Shift STTT Fabrications Line: Monday-Thursday 3:30 pm - 2 am

Summary Pay Range:
$20.15 - $25.15Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
