DescriptionThe Global Conferences intern plays a key role in supporting the work of the Global Conferences team which serves approximately 450000 youth and young single adults worldwide each year.
This internship is part of the Priesthood and Family Department and is a fulltime oneyear internship position beginning March 2026. It requires onsite work at the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City Utah. Limited hybrid work options may be available depending on arrangements made with hiring staff at the time of hire. Interns may also have opportunities to observe local conferences held in the Salt Lake City and Provo areas.
ResponsibilitiesThe Global Conferences: Area Support and Communications Full-Time Intern is an integral part of the Conferences Team in the Priesthood and Family Department. The primary focus of this internship is on supporting global leaders and teams in their implementation of conferences. This internship will include but not be limited to the following responsibilities:
- Working with Global Conference Area Support Team and ecclesiastical areas to meet and fulfill area needs and requests
- Gathering and tracking area learnings reports and metrics
- Writing and editing communications in collaboration with the broader team
- Working with various teams to create and successfully deliver communications
- Brainstorming ways to utilize communication platforms most accessible to conference audiences

QualificationsInterns must be enrolled as a full-time student or have graduated within one year of beginning their internship. Interns must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter. Other qualifications include:
- Strong understanding of Church doctrine history organization policy and a love of the gospel of Jesus Christ
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to give careful attention to detail sustain concentration for long periods of time and maintain the highest level of accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to represent the department professionally
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Preferred: experience with international relations communications business experience design and/or user experience
- Preferred: Ability to speak a foreign language preferably Spanish or French
