Job Summary

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to join one of our long-term clients team at (2) of their properties in Minneapolis MN (55408). The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience in residential maintenance (at least one year as a senior/lead role) have experience with unit turns have knowledge of basic maintenance be self-motivated be able to organize multiple tasks throughout the day and is self-sufficient. MagicPak experience is required. CPO experience is required certifications are highly preferred. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion) or can go direct hire with the right candidate.

This role will be working with (2) properties and 175 luxury units combined.

Salary: $34-$35/hour DOQ.

Schedule: Monday Friday 9am - 5pm.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

Provide a variety of skilled building maintenance including repairs to sinks windows floors and other parts of the building.
Maintains the grounds as assigned which may include trash pick-up shoveling and sweeping curb/dumpster area maintaining landscape beds and other areas.
Preparation of vacant units for occupancy which may include cleaning responsibilities.
Install repair (including soldering) and maintain various plumbing; heating and air conditioning fixtures; perform metal fabrication and welding.
Installation and repair of major and minor appliances (e.g. washer dryer refrigerator stove microwave dishwashers etc.).
Troubleshoot maintenance issues diagnose problems replace and/or repair parts test and make necessary adjustments to ensure issues are resolved.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed.
Complete minor work orders such as snake toilets/drains repair/replace leaking faucets remove/replace caulking replace different components of toilets adjust/replace door closures and replace locks deadbolts and passage locks.
Always demonstrate courteous and efficient customer service.
Lead and mentor other maintenance technicians onsite.

Qualifications and Experience:

3 years experience in residential maintenance unit turns work orders and preventative maintenance. (At least 1 years experience as a Senior or Lead Maintenance Technician).
MagicPak experience is required.
Have own tool set.
Punctual and reliable.
Be able to pass a background check before employment.
Have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation as this role will be roving between sites as needed.
