Job Summary
The Hospitality and Events Lead/Lead Office Services Associate is a member of the on-site Williams Lea team delivering exceptional customer service at our client locations. Responsibilities include leading employees and directing workflow in one or more of the following areas: Client Events Hospitality and Conference room set-up.
JOB DUTIES - HOSPITALITY
- Coordinates events schedule with catering staff
- Manages supply ordering for event supplies
- Research new vendors caterers and material replacement
- Engage with on-site suppliers
- Provide any follow up reporting on all event details.
- Help with smaller meetings when necessary or available.
Job DUTIES - EVENTS
- Directs and oversees certain meetings and all events
- Gives instructions and assignments to catering staff
- Oversees all Food and Beverage / catering orders for events
- Curates aesthetically pleasing event layouts
- Maintains an inventory for all wine and beer selections for meeting and events
- Point of contact for all Event Teams
- Plans executes and manages all logistics for meetings and events
- Monitor timelines and deadlines related to all aspects of events

Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum (3) years professional experience preferably in hospitality/catering industry
- Event planning experience is required
- Experience managing a team in a leadership role
- Able to make independent decisions that conform to business needs and policy.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills required.
- Experience planning events / lunches /dinner events planned menu for these meetings
- Excellent organizational skills required.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and complete all projects in a timely manner.
- Strong attention to detail is required.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Professional attire and demeanor required.
- Good written communication skills.
- Good problem -solving skills with the ability and understanding of when to escalate a problem to a supervisory level.
- Ability to work in a fast paced high energy environment.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional telephone demeanor.
- Ability to anticipate clients needs for meetings and events.
- Must be self-motivated with positive can do attitude.
- Proven customer service skills are required in order to create maintain and enhance customer relationships.
Additional Information :
The rate of pay for this role at the noted RRD location is $30.04/hour. Typically roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role in addition to the hourly rate of pay the total compensation package may also include overtime shift differential call-in and/or stand-by pay.
