As a member of the market leadership team the Market CNO is accountable for the market performance related to quality and safety initiatives workforce planning and retention initiatives high reliability structures and processes to improve outcomes and reduce clinical variation. Responsible for regulatory requirements (e.g.: DNV ISO DNV NIAHO Conditions of Participations etc.) transformation and process improvement initiatives (Lean Six Sigma Lean Daily Management etc.) and hospital(s) nursing/clinical operational performance (e.g.: planning expense management productivity etc.). Partners and collaborates with other market executive leaders to ensure alignment of strategic initiatives actively participating in market and system task forces councils and committees and
leadership and supervision of nursing leadership. Position reports directly to the Acute Care Market President with dotted line reporting to the SVP Chief Nursing Officer for Sentara.
