Responsibilities
- Counts weighs measures items in incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading invoices orders and other records.
- Determines method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures routes and rates.
- Selects containers and assembles if necessary
- Packs items into containers using the appropriate spacers fillers and protective padding.
- Secures container and applies proper shipping labels.
- Post weights and shipping charges affixes postage.
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments rejects damaged items records shortages and corresponds with the shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Ensures that outgoing shipments meet specifications.
- Operates tier-lift truck or uses hand truck to move convey or hoist shipments for shipping and receiving platform to the storage or work area.
- Receives damaged or defective goods returned to the establishment.
- Receives unsold products returned by the Parts Driver.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.
- Deliver parts and equipment to customers and vendors.
- Pick up parts and equipment from customers and vendors to be coordinated with Parts Manager Inventory Control Clerk Parts Counter peopleorShipping and Receiving clerk before leaving.
- Complete a log at time of delivery and request therecipients signature.
- Unload truck each night. Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures.

- Reliable transportation to and from work every single day
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
