Manages andcoordinatesthe maintenance improvement installation and repair ofthe assigned area equipmentutilitiesand process automation/network systems.

Accountable for effective implementation and sustainability of Asset Care Program and TotalProductiveMaintenance (TPM)element.

Assistin the execution and monitoring of equipment performance as part of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Maintenance Excellence Programs.

Collaboration with the personnelfromtheEngineeringand MAPdepartmentsin troubleshooting and process improvement efforts (i.e.training personnel in SMED techniques).

PerformOperator Care tasksas needed Will train operators andtechnicians lower level onprocessesand equipmentin their assigned area.

Drives complex defect elimination.

How You Will Achieve It

Accountability & Supporting Activities:

Know and followcompliance andsafety standards and procedures:

Designs SOPs on the use and maintenance of production equipment as.
Plays an active and leading role in the promotion of safe work practices particularlyin the area ofequipment operationcleaningand set-up.
Applies mechanicalelectricaland basic instrumentation/process controlexpertisein the development of operating procedures for theMAP Mod 1 operationaldepartments.
Lead relevant shared investigations with technical compliance operationsprocess team members.
Apply safety policies and GMP knowledge in daily operations involving self and other team members (i.e. BASE LOTO Lock Out/Tag Out PPE Personal Protective Equipmentutilization 5s housekeeping gowning good documentation practices and cross contamination prevention etc.).Perform daily safety inspections (BASE).

Participate actively in process improvement projects:

Responsible foridentifyingdevelopingand implementing proposals on equipment or process improvement which will result in process or product enhancement.In collaboration withOperators Equipment and Process Specialistsoptimizemachine performance.Support Process Specialist with Just Do It (JDI) and Continuous Improvement Stories (CIS) completion.

Perform diagnosis and troubleshoot complex equipment and processes:

Troubleshoot equipment as necessary; perform adjustments and minor mechanical operations.Ability to perform troubleshooting using the main HMIs or SCADA control systems.React to equipment alarms toidentifyroot causes and solve alarm conditions.Acknowledge and reset alarms.Provides mechanicalelectricaland basic instrumentation /process controlexpertiseon equipment.Works from verbal and written instructions drawings jobaidsand sketches.Seeks input from vendor on issues and documents successful solutions incentral maintenance database.Manages and coordinates the work of contract personnel on repairand maintenanceworkas necessary.Perform comprehensive troubleshooting using automation infrastructuresystem(PLC SCADA PAT Data Historian etc.).

Increase OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) through improved equipment reliability:

Recommendand perform (if)predictive and preventive maintenance tasks.Participate in equipment failure investigations todetermineroot causes and propose solutions.Initiate and implement ideas to improve qualitysafetyand cost.Assistin equipment andfacilitiesupgrade projects equipmentFATsand validation execution.Create recipes for new product presentations or material components.

Qualifications

Must-Have

BA/BS degree with any years of experience or associates degree with 4 years of experience or high school diploma (or equivalent) with 6 years of relevant experience
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office programs
Strong organizational skills
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes

Bonus Points If You Have(Preferred Requirements):

Pharmaceutical experience in Operations Engineering
Experience in a highly regulated environment
Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory standards
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to identify and implement cost-effective solutions
Experience in optimizing production workflows
Experience using common AI tools including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices including risk management and ethical use

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

This position is expected to perform repetitive and routing tasks following established written standard operating procedures (SOPs)to successfully perform some troubleshootingfor MAP Operations.Disposition to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision and perform complex data analysis.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Available to work irregular working hours including different shiftsholidays and weekends as per business requirements.
