Environmental Tectonics Corporation a growing dynamic US Company located just outside of Philadelphia PA is seeking a local experienced Mechanical Analysis Engineer to support our operations. This role supports the product design manufacturing process validation and continuous improvement initiatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Support the mechanical engineering department using Inventor including detailing and light to intermediate level design work and ANSYS FEA.
- Identify problems with existing designs and recommend changes. Implement and document approved changes.
- Provide technical support for electricians and electrical technicians.
- Verify the operation of sterilizer control systems upon completion.
- Assist shop floor technicians with assembly questions in the component testing and bench testing of various systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelors degree (completed or working towards) in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience in design mechanical analysis and/or manufacturing engineering
- Hands-on experience with FEA tools such as ANSYS Abaqus NASTRAN or similar
- Solid understanding of mechanics of materials structural analysis and manufacturing processes
- Experience interpreting test data and correlating it with simulation results
- Ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to non-analysis stakeholders.
