$13.00 starting hourly rate.
Hours
Student can work a maximum of 25 hours per week total during the academic semesters. Summer employment will work 5 days a week M-F from 7 AM to 3:30 PM with a half hour for lunch.
Job Description
The Project crew members will be hired for specific job duties. These will be the main duties. This position also will be responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance or modifications required within the Resident Halls. You will work with a team of fellow Project crew members.
These positions will report to Housing and Residence Facilities Manager or the Paint crew manager.
Paint crew
Painting areas as required
Do touch up painting as assigned
Window treatment crew
Remove window curtains from 4 buildings inspect wash fold and wrap.
Remove and replace any damaged window treatment as needed
Furniture inspection crew
Inspect all the furniture in each student room for damage etc.
Inspect all the common furniture in each building reporting and damages etc.
Submit inspection reports to the project crew leader.
Furniture repair crew
Repair or replace any reported damaged furniture as required.
Complete all work orders.
Lock inspection and cleaning crew
Complete key box inventory when required.
Inspect each door handle and core for proper operation.
Clean and repair any issues.
Perform recores along with maintaining the replacement core bins.
Project Crew leader: 1 position
This position will have a sperate job description to follow will also be assisting with the furniture inspections and fill in as needed.
Complete monthly Life Safety inspections
Some of the assignments you may be required to do:
Maintain reports.
Relocate furniture throughout the building.
Make deliveries.
Work with other housing crews.
Building inspections.
Work with hand and power tools
Other assignments as required
Required Qualifications
Students applying for this position must pass a Criminal Background Check Misconduct Reference Check and Position of Trust with vulnerable populations check.
Maintain 100 percent control of issued keys and IDs at all times.
Report any work-related injuries to your supervisor immediately.
Maintain a safe working environment.
Keep accurate timecards. Punch in and out of work

Bending/stooping/crouching 3-4 hours per day
Kneel/squat 3-4 hours per day
Repetitive actions 2-8 hours per day
Exposed to heat and water 2-6 hours per day
