Overview

Our client is a leading energy company seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead pre-construction activities for solar repower projects. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all pre-construction activities for solar repower projects from inception to construction readiness
• Coordinate project planning permitting and regulatory compliance activities
• Develop comprehensive project schedules budgets and resource allocation plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering environmental legal and construction teams
• Manage stakeholder communications and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners
• Ensure all projects meet safety quality cost and schedule requirements
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to senior management
• Coordinate with transmission and substation (T&S) teams for system integration
• Review and approve project documentation contracts and technical specifications

Requirements

• 6-10 years of project management experience preferably in renewable energy or utility-scale solar projects
• Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or related field
• Strong experience with pre-construction project phases including planning permitting and design coordination
• Knowledge of solar energy systems electrical infrastructure and utility operations
• Familiarity with transmission and substation (T&S) systems and integration
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (MS Project Primavera etc.)
• Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills
• PMP certification preferred
• Ability to work full-time on-site at Juno Beach FL location
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and permitting processes for solar projects
