JOB TITLE:

Front Desk Assistant

** Pay increases to $15.25/hour after successfully completing a 4 month probationary period.**

WORKING HOURS:

Applicants MUST be able to work Spring Summer & Fall semesters of 2026.

Applicants MUST be able to work 9:30 am - 11:30 am Monday Wednesday and Friday during the Spring semester.

Working hours for this position may range from 10 to 20 hours/week. Applicants may be scheduled to work during the following times:

  • Monday Friday 7:00 am 5:30 pm
  • This position may require occasional night/weekend work.

JOB PURPOSE:

Front Desk Assistant

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The main responsibility of this position is acting as the front line for Transportation Services; primarily parking and car rentals. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Handling front desk operations
  • Answering phones
  • Data entry
  • Processing payments for citations and permits
  • Assisting customers resolving customer issues
  • Checking vehicles in and out
  • Making reservations and vehicle assignments
  • Daily accounting processes; working register creating deposits
  • Opening the office/closing the office when office associate is not available
  • Any other duties as assigned

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:

This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants MUST be able to work Spring Summer & Fall semesters of 2026.

Applicants MUST be able to work 9:30 am - 11:30 am Monday Wednesday and Friday during the Spring semester.

Individuals hired for this position must complete a background check and hold a valid drivers license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) that is compliant with theUniversity Vehicle Use Policyand UWs Driving and Business Standard Policy and Procedure.
