The FDIC 370 Area Product within Deposit 2.0 aims to ensure compliance with regulations while modernizing underlying technology platforms. You will be a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of various deposit products across both consumer and wholesale divisions and will possess strong product and data acumen. You will engage with multiple Lines of Business to ensure the new platform is built with autonomy as a foundational principle. You will manage a team of product managers champion innovation and ensure strict adherence to established controls.

Job responsibilities

• Oversees the product roadmap vision development execution risk management and business growth targets
• Leads the entire product life cycle through planning execution and future development bycontinuously adapting developing new products and methodologies managing risks and achieving business targets like cost features reusability and reliability to support growth
• Coaches andmentorsthe product team on best practices such as solution generation market research storyboarding mind-mapping prototyping methods product adoption strategies and product delivery enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
• Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
• Monitors market trends conducts competitive analysis andidentifiesopportunities for product differentiation
• Drive the success of growth segment goals by partnering with segment leaders to implement customized experiences that delight customers.
• Chair the FDIC Part 370 program and attestation process for JPMC.
• Lead customer outreach and data quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior leaders in financial controls legal compliance business controls and the FDIC as needed.
• Build strong partnerships with engineering design analytics business operations program management and partner teams influencing stakeholders on key product and technology decisions.

Required qualifications skills and capabilities

• 8 years of experience or equivalentexpertisedelivering products projects or technology applications
• Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle technical design and data analytics
• Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery ideation strategic development requirements definition and value management
• Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
• Proven ability to lead teams to deliver on product and regulatory commitments..
• Strong experience with agile delivery methodologies.
• At least 5 years of people management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to influence colleagues and leaders at all levels of the organization.

Preferred qualifications skills and capabilities

• Recognized thought leader within a related field
• Prior experience working with regulatory bodies is a plus
