The successful candidate will take responsibility for overseeing attendance processes and coordinating admissions ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring and tracking pupil attendance identifying patterns and concerns
Liaising with parents regarding attendance and punctuality
Maintaining accurate attendance records using the schools MIS system
Managing the admissions process including applications offers and transitions
Supporting safeguarding procedures related to attendance
Producing attendance reports for senior leadership and governors
Working closely with the Headteacher and office team to ensure smooth administration
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience in a school administrative role
Strong knowledge of attendance procedures and admissions processes
Experience using school MIS systems (e.g. SIMS Arbor Bromcom)
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A professional discreet and approachable manner
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
