Job Summary
An outstanding secondary school in the Amersham area is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join its successful Design & Technology department from April 2026. The Role
Teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured practical and theory-based lessons
Supporting pupils with coursework NEA and exam preparation
Promoting high standards of hygiene health and safety in practical lessons
Encouraging creativity independence and confidence in the kitchen
Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced DT department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Food Technology Hospitality or a related subject
Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and progress
A professional organised and positive teaching approach
