Join Our Team as a Sports Trader at Atlantic Lottery!
The Sports Trader is responsible for managing the daytoday operations of Atlantic Lotterys sports betting portfolio including the timely creation and maintenance of ProLine events odds and game lists while supporting sales and liability targets through accurate analysis and market monitoring. They contribute to reporting trend analysis and data mining to identify risks and opportunities provide knowledgeable support to internal stakeholders and handle operational issues with sound judgment and timely escalation when needed. The role requires strong numerical skills attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure while continuously seeking new market opportunities and improving event management processes.

Salary Band: $62600 - $93600 - A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $66000 - $76000 at the time of this posting. (Individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills market conditions relevant experience education training and internal equity).
Work Location: Office or Hybrid option working from our Moncton Office.
- Onboarding/Probation: Full-time in-office for your probation based in Moncton NB.
- After Probation: You can choose to either continue working full-time in the office or switch to a hybrid model coming into the office 2-3 times a week.
What youll do
Responsibilities
- Manage daily ProLine events including creating and updating game lists teams tables and odds within sports betting platforms.
- Monitor market exposure and execute liability management processes to support sales and prize expense targets.
- Identify new market opportunities to enhance customer engagement and support the evolution of sports betting offerings.
- Produce accurate operational and performance reports perform adhoc data mining (Oracle) and interpret trends to identify risks and opportunities.
- Investigate document and resolve operational issues using established procedures escalating when needed.
- Provide timely and knowledgeable support to internal stakeholders on sports operations and related inquiries.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across event management processes reporting and internal systems.
What youll need
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- 2 years of professional experience as a business reporting or data analyst.
- Post-secondary education in business or a related field.
- Must be 19 years of age or older to apply.
- Must reside in Atlantic Canada.
Professional Skills:
- Strong numerical and mathematical competency.
- Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
- High attention to detail with strong accuracy in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to multitask prioritize effectively and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Customer Service mindset.
- Ability to work varying shifts
Assets:
- Sports Trading and/or Gaming experience.
- Experience with SQL or data visualization tools (Power BI Tableau)
