The Process Excellence Manager is accountable for establishing and embedding process excellence as a core business discipline within Motor Claims Customers (MCC). Reporting to the EM Strategy & Operational Excellence the role has custodianship of specified process domains on behalf of MCC acting as the accountable business process owner for integrity prioritisation and improvement outcomes delivered in partnership with MCC and Customer Service.
The role is responsible for designing and implementing MCCs local process architecture including standards for process ownership documentation performance visibility change governance and decision rights enabling MCC to treat its critical processes as managed business assets rather than incidental inputs to change. The role will leverage this to establish a scalable repeatable model for process ownership that can be adopted by MCC Business Leaders across other critical process domains.
The Process Excellence Manager provides expert advice coaching and enablement to MCC leaders and teams building foundational process capability and clarifying accountabilities across collaborating functions delivery teams and operational leadership. The role is also responsible for managing transparent prioritisation sequencing and delivery visibility for in scope work.
What Youll Do:
Own specified process domains on behalf of Motor Claims Customers (MCC) accountable for the endtoend process in partnership with Consumer Insurance stakeholders
Set clear expectations for what the process covers who is accountable for decisions and how priorities are set
Ensure leaders have clear visibility of how the process is performing and where attention is needed
Design and apply flexible resourcing approaches to process design and governance work so outcomes can be delivered without placing unnecessary demand on MCC business units
Work closely with internal teams and serviceproviding divisions to align expectations and manage dependencies for MCCowned processes.
What Youll Bring:
Minimum 10 years in insurance claims and/or financial services experience including minimum 5 years in exposure to Motor Claims
Experience working with executive stakeholders
Strong working knowledge of how to define and document end to end processes in a clear practical way.
Ability to apply structure to improve consistency clarity and outcomes without creating unnecessary complexity or burden for teams
An understanding and ability to explain how work flows from start to finish across people systems and handoffs even when the work spans multiple teams or divisions
Skilled at making roles responsibilities and decision rights clear especially in situations where accountability is shared or unclear
Ability to explain who owns what and who decides what in simple terms reducing confusion rework and delay.
