Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Stock Clerk to join our dynamic team in the fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking and supplying electrical components to various departments within the production floor ensuring a seamless manufacturing process. The Stock Clerk will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels organizing stock areas and contributing to the overall efficiency of the production operations.
Essential Functions:
- Accurately pick and deliver electrical components as per production requirements ensuring timely availability for assembly and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels and prevent production delays.
- Organize and maintain the storage area for electrical components ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
- Utilize inventory management software to track component usage reorder supplies and update inventory records.
- Collaborate with production team members to identify and resolve any discrepancies in component supplies.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies while handling electrical components and equipment.
- Assist in receiving and unloading new stock shipments verifying quantities and ensuring quality of components received.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize stock handling procedures and reduce waste.
Required Qualifications (one of the following):
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience
- 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- The candidate needs to have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Must be accurate neat and computer literate.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds with assistance.
- Must be a to work in our facility.
- Preference given to candidates with electrical component handling experience.
- Experience with anenterprise resource planning (ERP) system is a plus (LNpreferred).
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook Excel and Teams a plus.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in California Massachusetts New Jersey Washington and the Greater D.C Denver or NYC areas is $36920 - $67500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New York state and Vermont is $36920 - $58500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
