Role snapshot
- Guide a crew of maintenance technicians supporting high-volume manufacturing and facility operations.
- Own uptime: diagnose issues perform repairs and prevent recurrence through root cause analysis.
- Standardize documentation in the CMMS and drive safety-first behaviors (especially LOTO).
- Partner with leadership in recurring meetings to remove roadblocks and reduce costs breakage and downtime.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain troubleshoot and repair production equipment; handle general facility maintenance and small construction tasks.
- Provide day-to-day direction coaching and mentoring to the technician team while maintaining management directives.
- Deliver targeted training to develop technical skills and close capability gaps.
- Set quality standards for repairs; verify effective and efficient completion of work.
- Ensure accurate recording of labor hours parts usage and service details in the CMMS.
- Own team safety practices with emphasis on Lock-Out/Tag-Out and required safety training.
- Communicate consistently upward and downward; participate in scheduled reviews to resolve open issues.
- Take on special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
- CMMS proficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot using root cause analysis.
- Fluency in reading electrical schematics and maintenance documentation including mechanical logic pneumatic and fluid power diagrams.
- Basic computer literacy and math skills.
- Working knowledge of safety procedures and standards including LOTO.
