Job Summary
Description
Responsibilities:
- Operate all manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
- Demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time
- Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
- Responsible for safety and quality throughout the production process including following all safety procedures and performing manual and visual quality inspection of products as assigned
- Responsible for cleaning equipment and area before during and after shift
- May be responsible for sorting product as needed to ensure quality shipments
- Assist inchangeovers when needed
- Is responsible for cross-training across multiple operations such as presses palletizers seamers and/or slitters
- Responsible for working directly with team members to meet all safety quality and productivity goals
- Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a fast-paced Manufacturing Environment
- Must have the willingness and ability to effectively communicate with peers supervisors and other levels of the organization to create a positive team-oriented environment
- Ability to read and write in English
- Basic Math skills such as addition subtraction and taking measurements
- Must be willing to work evening or night shift and weekends as needed based on business need
