Job Summary

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
Check on equipment throughout shift to ensure equipment is working properly.
Reads and clearly follows processes that are required.
Contributes to division results and performance.
Takes care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.
Operate equipment specific to area such as: CARBON: Bag products samples and test;
Manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace; Switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent carbon; calibrate PH probes operate a filter press run facility waste water treatment plant.
REGEN: Sort bottles by size and resin; load and unload deliveries to and from regional branch; Operates forklift to move bottles and materials through plant and load/unload trucks; evacuates bottles.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS-FORMAL EDUCATION Required:
High School Diploma or GED.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Required:
Must complete site specific safety training.
Ability to communicate clearly to team members.
Be able to follow and read instructions.
Have basic math skills.
Site specific requirements:
CARBON: Be able to complete 40 hour hazardous waste operations training.
Preferred: Some manufacturing/plant experience.
Forklift driving.
Knowledge of computers.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to sit stand hear and see on a constant basis.
Must be able to walk write and type on a frequent basis.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Must be able to climb and descend stairs.
Must be able to bend carry reach push and pull on an occasional basis.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
May work indoors and outdoors as needed.
Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees.
May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required.
May be exposed to varying amounts of dust
