Colonial Country Club Golf Outside Services

As a key member of the propertys golf operations team the Outside Services Attendant reports directly to the Outside Services Manager Assistant Golf Professional or Head Professional and attends to the golf cart fleet bag drop reception staging area and practice facilities.

Qualifications Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Must have strong customer/guest service focus
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must be dependable
Must be team and goal oriented
Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the members and guests
Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred
Ability to learn and enforce course policies rules and regulations
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely

Position Responsibilities:
Maintains professional appearance
Brings carts from the cart facility in the morning to the staging area and returns carts to the cart facility at the end of the day.
Cleans stocks plugs in and checks carts after each use.
Wash and fold towels for member use.
Fills seed bottles
Retrieves members clubs from storage cleans them and stores after use.
Welcomes guests receives their clubs and returns clubs to their automobiles at the bag drop reception area.
Collects golf balls from the practice facilities grass and lake throughout the day and as needed.
Washes and restocks range balls.
Cleans and maintains cart and bag storage facility.
General cart maintenance.
Ensures the carts are always available for players.
Works closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare and conduct golf events.
Fills in as Starter and assists with pace of play when needed.
Checks and keeps amenity container inventory levels full. Tees pencils ball markers seed bottles etc.
On course duties and deliveries as needed.
Records and reports golfers that play but not on the tee-sheet.
Implements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by management
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Working Conditions:
Must be of legal driving age and operate golf cart like vehicles safely.
While performing the required duties of this job the employee is regularly required to reach with arms and hands
The employee often is required to walk stand talk or hear handle feel or operate objects
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs to include golf bags and full range ball baskets.
The employee will occasionally be required to sit stoop kneel crouch or crawl
Specific vision abilities include close distance color and peripheral vision and depth perception
Moderate exposure to extreme cold heat working outdoors mechanical hazards and electrical hazards
Exposure to pollens and dust
Noise level is moderately quiet
Work extended hours during golf and holiday season
Work weekends and holidays
