Job Title: Command Specialist

Duration: 1 year (Potential FTE Conversion)
Pay Rate: $50 $55 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Position Overview

The Command Specialist provides direct technical support for ongoing rental and sales operations related to Extreme drilling equipment. This role serves as a primary point of contact for field operators and customers offering remote troubleshooting support escalating technical issues and ensuring accurate documentation of field activity.

This is a 24/7 support organization operating on a rotating schedule (schedule subject to change upon FTE conversion).

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct remote technical support to customers operating Extreme equipment in the field
Troubleshoot MWD system issues and escalate technical concerns to appropriate internal teams
Document and catalog equipment activity and issues within business systems
Consolidate and report field activity data to internal stakeholders
Maintain professional communication with customers and field personnel
Support rental and sales operations through structured technical reporting

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2-year technical degree
3 5 years of direct field experience in Directional Drilling/MWD services (North America Land)
Recent MWD experience (within the last 3 5 years)
Strong experience with Electromagnetic (EM) telemetry tools
Strong computer proficiency (Excel PowerBI data analysis tools)
Comfortable communicating directly with customers
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with XEM xBolt or other Extreme MWD systems
Familiarity with Rotary Steerable Systems (RSS)

Work Environment

Office-based position located in Katy TX
High customer interaction role
Rotational responsibility supporting 24/7 Command Center operations
