Senior Instructor / Subject Matter Expert Microwave Devices Propagation and Radar Systems (EO4612)

Position Summary
The Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) is seeking a highly experienced Senior Instructor/Subject Matter Expert to update and deliver graduate-level instruction for EO4612 Microwave Devices Propagation and Radar Systems. This role supports advanced military education and research providing resident instruction with a hybrid delivery model.
The selected contractor will deliver high-level instruction in microwave systems radar theory propagation modeling and related electronic warfare applications supporting graduate students in a defense-focused academic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Update and refine existing course curriculum and materials
- Develop lectures labs assignments projects quizzes and exams
- Deliver graduate-level instruction to resident students
- Conduct in-person and virtual laboratory sessions
- Deliver a minimum of 3 weeks of in-person instruction at NPS
- Provide hybrid instruction using Government-approved platforms
- Monitor and assess student performance
- Grade student work and provide timely feedback
- Maintain weekly office hours (minimum 4 hours/week)
- Submit mid-quarter and final student performance reports
- Submit final grades and maintain course documentation
Delivery Format
- Resident course section
- Minimum 3 weeks in-person delivery at NPS Monterey CA
- Remaining instruction delivered via Zoom-for-Government or Microsoft Teams
Minimum Technical Requirements for Contractor Instructor Personnel
- Approx. 20 years of experience in graduate course development and delivery
- Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical Engineering Electrical and Computer Engineering Physics or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of military radar and electronic warfare systems
- Approx. 20 years of work experience in radar and electronic warfare systems

Course Development: March 16 2026 June 26 2026
Course Delivery: March 30 2026 June 17 2026
