Data Engineer GenAI Focus (W2)

Location: Orlando FL - Hybrid (3 Days Onsite / 2 Remote)

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong GenAI expertise to design and deliver advanced analytical data solutions. This role involves research and development hands-on data engineering and close collaboration with business and technology leaders to build scalable intelligent data systems.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in Generative AI SQL Python and modern data engineering practices within enterprise environments.

Generative AI experience
Strong SQL expertise
Strong Python development experience

Required Qualifications

7 years of experience in data engineering development across multiple environments (Dev QA Prod).
Strong experience with Generative AI models tools and related concepts.
5 years of hands-on experience with SQL and Python.
3 years designing and building relational databases (preferably Snowflake or PostgreSQL).
Experience developing and maintaining ELT/ETL data pipelines.
Strong experience translating business requirements into technical data solutions.
Understanding of Knowledge Graphs Data Mesh and modern data-sharing architectures.
3 years of experience using GitLab/GitHub or similar source control tools for code deployment.
2 years of experience with job scheduling tools such as Apache Airflow Amazon MWAA GitLab Runners or UC4.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and/or Kubernetes.

Other Experience

Experience supporting advanced analytics or decision science teams.
Background in optimization modeling or statistical modeling environments.
Enterprise-level data platform architecture experience.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Mathematics Software Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
