Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Pediatric Clewiston FL

1099 Independent Contractor $40 $55 per Hour In-Person

A growing pediatric therapy provider is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver therapy services in Clewiston FL with the majority of hours in a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a PTA who enjoys working with children and values consistent hours in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment.

Position Overview

The PTA will provide pediatric physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist primarily within a PPEC facility serving medically complex children.

Responsibilities

Deliver physical therapy services under the direction of a supervising PT
Implement individualized treatment plans focused on:
- Mobility and gait training
- Strength development
- Positioning and postural control
- Functional skill development
Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members
Maintain accurate timely and compliant documentation
Support a positive and professional therapeutic environment

Qualifications

Active and unencumbered Florida PTA license (required)
Pediatric experience preferred
PPEC experience a strong plus
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work with medically complex pediatric populations

Position Details

Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Compensation: $40.00 $55.00 per hour
