JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE In addition to the basic purpose of the Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists in clinical data gathering problem solving clinical support functions patient interaction and medication order processing. Supervised in all duties by a pharmacist. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Ambulatory Infusion staff are knowledgeable in the care of patients with cancer autoimmune diseases infections and more. We provide expert care to the patients and all of their infusion needs. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required. Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License. Eighteen (18) months work experience as a Pharmacy Technician required. Experience and/or training with a computer keyboard required. Experience and/or training operating a calculator and performing math calculations required. Technical experience in Pharmacy procedures including IV admixture and sterile techniques required. Experience and/or training assessing clinical data required. Pre-employment/post offer drug screen required.
Shift: Days (0700-1730) no weekends
