Job Summary
Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect to design develop and implement scalable secure and cost-efficient solutions that align with business and IT strategies. The Solution Architect will collaborate with stakeholders product teams and engineers to translate business requirements into robust technical architectures. A strong background in cloud platforms infrastructure and networking is mandatory for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
Define end-to-end solution architectures that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
Ensure solutions are scalable secure and optimized for performance and cost.
Develop architectural blueprints diagrams and roadmaps.
Cloud & Infrastructure
Design and implement solutions leveraging major cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).
Define cloud-native architectures including IaaS PaaS containerization and serverless.
Ensure compliance with cloud security and governance best practices.
Optimize infrastructure utilization cost and performance.
Networking & Security (Mandatory Expertise)
Design and implement network architectures including VPCs subnets routing VPNs firewalls load balancers and DNS.
Ensure high availability scalability and disaster recovery in cloud and hybrid environments.
Apply zero-trust principles identity and access management and encryption standards.
Troubleshoot and optimize network performance across hybrid environments.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Work closely with project managers developers and DevOps teams to ensure smooth delivery.
Serve as a trusted advisor on technology strategy platform selection and integration options.
Governance & Best Practices
Define architecture principles standards and guidelines.
Conduct architecture reviews design validations and compliance checks.
Ensure adherence to security regulatory and compliance requirements (GDPR ISO etc.).
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Stay updated on emerging technologies industry trends and vendor offerings.
Drive adoption of modern practices such as DevOps Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD.
Recommend tools frameworks and technologies to improve efficiency and agility.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field (Masters preferred).
15 years of experience in IT architecture with at least 5 years in a solution architect role.
Mandatory: Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) infrastructure design and networking (routing switching firewalls load balancing VPN DNS VPCs peering etc.).
Proven experience designing secure scalable and resilient cloud-native and hybrid architectures.
Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Terraform Ansible Jenkins Kubernetes Docker etc.).
Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns APIs and microservices.
Excellent communication stakeholder management and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional Azure Solutions Architect Expert or GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
Networking certifications (CCNA/CCNP CompTIA Network etc.).
Familiarity with observability monitoring and logging platforms.
Experience in enterprise-scale environments (automotive finance manufacturing or GCC setups).
