The Role
We are looking for an experienced Implementation Consultant to grow with us for our Portsmouth NH/U.S. office. The position can be remote for candidates living and working in the U.S. on EST and CST Timezones. The candidate hired in the role will be expected to work EST hours with our U.S. based customers.
Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time/Permanent basis for any employer without restriction. Visa Sponsorships or Transfers WILL NOT be provided for this position.
The Implementation Consultant is a technical and strategicconsultantwithin Bottomlines Financial Messaging delivery organization. This rolewill be the SMEfor a key strategic clientthatcombinesexpertisein payments technology with advanced consulting capabilities to drive complex implementations and ensure successful customer adoption of Bottomline software. Acting as a trusted advisor the Implementation Consultant provides direction on design decisions leadshigh-impactworkstreams resolves complex technical challenges and influences boththecustomer roadmap and internal best practices.
ThisImplementation Consultant SMEwillhelp toshapesolution approachesworkingalongsidethe customeradvising onarchitectural considerations andrepresentingdelivery perspectives in customer discussions.
HowYoullContribute asanImplementation Consultant:
- Serve as thetechnical leadfor large or complex implementation projects guiding solution architecture integration strategy and configuration design
- Drive upgrades platform migrations and advanced troubleshootingleading tothe resolution of complex or escalated technical issues
- Translatebusiness needs into detailed technical requirements influencing customer solution direction and architectural decisions
- Lead customer testing cycles migrations cutovers and go-live readiness activities
- Act as a strategic partner to customer stakeholdersidentifyingoptimization opportunities and helping customers maximize value from Bottomline solutions
- Provide authoritative technical documentation and clear executive-ready communication to internal and customer partners
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to convey field insights and influence product enhancements
- Strengthen the customer relationship by demonstrating thought leadership proactive guidance and deep subject-matter expertise
- End-Users support and training utilizing Bottomline solutions
If you have the attributes skills and expertise listed below we want to hear from you!
- 5 years of experience implementing payments technology solutions or delivering complex technical programs in financial services/banking
- Experience or familiarity with GTExchange GTSuite and Financial Messaging product capabilities
- Strong knowledge of global payments standards and infrastructures (ISO 20022FINPlus CHAPS SEPA FPS BACS SIC IP etc.)
- Deep understanding of SWIFT channels includingFINPlus InteractFileAct and FIN
- Experience with SWIFT components SAG HSMs and CSCF (CSP) is a Big Plus
- Proficiency in enterprise architecture concepts: APIs JSON certificates SSL/TLS Linux SQL/Oracle databases workflow engines and secure system design
- Proven ability to lead technical workstreams influence senior-level stakeholders and drive high-quality delivery outcomes
- Expert troubleshooting skills with a record of resolving complex or ambiguous technical issues
- Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills including creation of technical documentation solution diagrams and presentations
- Strong analytical and organizationalskillswith a commitment to quality
