Cabin Crew Manager - Arlanda Airport Crew Base
As Cabin Crew Manager you will play a key role at SAS shaping the future of aviation while leading and developing our Cabin Crew the frontline team that represents SAS to our passengers every day. You will motivate guide and support your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences on board ensuring the highest standards of safety in a competitive and fast-changing market.
Challenges you will work on
As Cabin Crew Manager you will play a central role in shaping and developing the Stockholm crew base working closely with Head Office to create the right conditions for Cabin Crew to perform safely and deliver an exceptional customer this role you will lead and support a team of around 150 Cabin Crew having a real impact on employee engagement operational excellence and the overall development of the team. You will have opportunities to influence processes drive change and contribute to strategic initiatives across the organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinatingworkforceplanningschedules andoperationalprioritiesincollaborationwithCrewPlanning.
- Driving initiatives for continuous improvement including training competence development and process enhancements.
- Monitoring performance following up on incidents and KPIs and maintaining high standards in Safety Punctuality and Care.
- Representing Cabin Crew Management in projects meetings and forums contributing to cross-functional collaboration and decision-making.
- Supporting a positive work environment by promoting engagement communication and team spirit and helping your team grow professionally.
- Be part of the Scandinavian Cabin Crew leadership group working closely with colleagues across the organization and contributing to knowledge sharing best practices and continuous professional development.
The Team
Your primary workplace will be Crew Base Arlanda with occasional visits to Head Office in Stockholm. The Arlanda crew base currently consists of approximately 800 employees. Together with three other Cabin Managers you will be part of a skilled and collaborative local Cabin Management team at Arlanda. The role reports to the Head of Cabin Crew Copenhagen who is organizationally based at Head Office in Stockholm and regularly visits the Cabin Crew bases.
To be successful we believe you have
- Experience from aviation management or a strong interest in working in an aviation environment.
- Proven ability to lead and engage large employee groups preferably with experience of long-distance leadership.
- Relevant education or equivalent work experience.
- Strong communication skills inEnglish and at least one Scandinavian language.
- Confidence in using IT systems and administrative tools in your daily work.
- Experience of working with LEAN principles is considered an advantage but not a requirement.
