Job Description

Our client a well-established utilities company based in Kilkenny is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with strong setting out experience to join their team on a 6-month contract. This role will support ongoing grid connection works and associated civil infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out for grid connection and associated civil works
Coordinating site activities and ensuring works are delivered to specification
Interpreting drawings and technical specifications
Liaising with site teams subcontractors and project management
Ensuring compliance with health & safety and quality standards
Monitoring progress and reporting on project milestones

Requirements:

Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
Proven experience in setting out for civil infrastructure or utilities projects
Experience working on grid connection works (highly desirable)
Strong knowledge of surveying equipment and site engineering software
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Full clean driving licence
