Job Summary

The Hope Group A SunSource Company is New Englands leading provider of fluid power and motion control solutions for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and MROs. Perfect opportunity for someone that is mechanically inclined especially automotive or HVAC technicians looking for a different work experience. Training will be provided including hands-on and manufacturer-supported instruction. With minimal assistance and supervision perform service on all air compressor systems and accessories. Duties include install troubleshoot repair maintain and rebuild of air compressors and related systems following established practices and procedures.

JOB SUMMARY:

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior technicians with servicing and repairing air compressors and related equipment

Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks (oil changes filter replacement inspections)

Learn to troubleshoot mechanical electrical and pneumatic issues

Help with installation of compressors dryers filters and air piping

Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment safely and correctly

Maintain accurate service documentation and job records

Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Maintain a clean and organized work area shop and service vehicle

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Basic mechanical aptitude (hands-on experience preferred but not required)

Willingness to learn and follow instructions

Ability to work in industrial environments

Valid drivers license

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

Preferred (Not Required)

Trade school vocational training or mechanical coursework

Experience with basic electrical systems

Familiarity with hand and power tools

Previous work in HVAC automotive maintenance or industrial settings

Work Environment

Work is performed at customer facilities such as manufacturing plants and warehouses. overtime or emergency service calls may be required. Be available for twenty-four hour on-call on a regular rotating basis.
