Location: Basildon Essex Full-Time Permanent
Aluminium Curtain Walling Estimator Basildon
We are recruiting an experienced Curtain Walling & Window Estimator to join a growing and well-established aluminium glazing specialist based in Basildon Essex.
This role focuses on preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for aluminium curtain walling and window systems ensuring technical accuracy commercial viability and margin control from enquiry through to quotation stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for aluminium curtain walling and window projects
- Interpret architectural drawings specifications and tender documentation
- Use LogiKal software to generate technical calculations and estimates
- Assess materials fabrication requirements labour and project costs
- Liaise with suppliers and aluminium system houses for pricing and technical data
- Identify value engineering opportunities to improve competitiveness
- Ensure quotations align with company pricing strategy and margin targets
- Support sales and project teams with technical input
- Maintain organised estimating records and documentation
- Respond to client technical queries when required
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience estimating curtain walling and aluminium window systems
- Strong working knowledge of LogiKal (essential)
- Familiarity with aluminium profile systems and system houses
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings
- Strong commercial awareness and margin management understanding
- High attention to detail and analytical ability
- Confident communicator with internal teams and clients
