Assistant Underwriter VIC Underwriting Team

Were seeking an Assistant Underwriter to support our VIC Underwriting team across new business renewals and mid-term policy changes. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a strong underwriting foundation while working closely with brokers and internal stakeholders.
What youll do
- Support underwriting of new business renewals and mid-term alterations
- Review assess and triage submissions in line with underwriting guidelines and delegated authority
- Provide underwriting processing and administrative support to Underwriters
- Deliver excellent service to brokers and customers meeting agreed turnaround times
- Assist in achieving portfolio financial targets including GWP and margins
- Collaborate closely with Distribution Claims Pricing Actuarial and Risk teams
- Ensure compliance with governance risk and audit requirements
