Job Summary

We are hiring a Sales Manager for our client in the chemicals manufacturing industry to drive business growth across the region (India-focused) by developing new accounts strengthening existing partnerships and positioning engineered plastics solutions in high-value applications.

This role requires a strong technical sales background in engineering plastics polymers or specialty materials with the ability to engage distributors and clients at both commercial and technical levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive regional sales strategy and achieve revenue & margin targets

  • Lead pricing strategy negotiations and contract management

  • Manage key regional distributors and channel partners

  • Strengthen long-term customer relationships and strategic partnerships

  • Monitor sales pipeline forecasts and market intelligence

  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers and internal stakeholders

  • Work closely with technical teams to provide application-driven solutions

  • Support customers in material selection testing and product qualification

  • Collaborate with R&D and product management teams for customized solutions

  • Provide market feedback to support product innovation and localization strategies

  • Analyze market trends competitor activities and pricing benchmarks

  • Identify growth opportunities in emerging applications

  • Develop annual sales plans aligned with regional and global strategies

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Management Engineering Materials Science Chemistry or related field

  • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience in engineering plastics specialty chemicals or polymer materials

  • Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing environments

  • Experience managing distributors and regional accounts

  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and margin growth

  • Strong negotiation presentation and stakeholder management skills

  • Willingness to travel regionally
