We are hiring a Sales Manager for our client in the chemicals manufacturing industry to drive business growth across the region (India-focused) by developing new accounts strengthening existing partnerships and positioning engineered plastics solutions in high-value applications.
This role requires a strong technical sales background in engineering plastics polymers or specialty materials with the ability to engage distributors and clients at both commercial and technical levels.
Responsibilities:
Drive regional sales strategy and achieve revenue & margin targets
Lead pricing strategy negotiations and contract management
Manage key regional distributors and channel partners
Strengthen long-term customer relationships and strategic partnerships
Monitor sales pipeline forecasts and market intelligence
Conduct regular business reviews with customers and internal stakeholders
Work closely with technical teams to provide application-driven solutions
Support customers in material selection testing and product qualification
Collaborate with R&D and product management teams for customized solutions
Provide market feedback to support product innovation and localization strategies
Analyze market trends competitor activities and pricing benchmarks
Identify growth opportunities in emerging applications
Develop annual sales plans aligned with regional and global strategies
Requirements
Degree in Business Management Engineering Materials Science Chemistry or related field
3-5 years of B2B sales experience in engineering plastics specialty chemicals or polymer materials
Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing environments
Experience managing distributors and regional accounts
Proven track record in achieving sales targets and margin growth
Strong negotiation presentation and stakeholder management skills
Willingness to travel regionally
