APAC Senior Tax Manager (12 months FTC)
Job Summary
As part of our expanding operations in the APAC we are now looking for an awesome Senior Tax Manager to join our growing finance team in Singapore serving our APAC operations.
Youll be part of a commercially-minded Global Tax team in Finance helping to ensure our tax affairs are efficient transparently compliant and slick so that our mission is sustainable.
This is a 12 months fixed-term contract.
Your mission
- Lead tax considerations of APAC countries for all product expansion
- Oversee regional corporate direct tax compliance and corporate direct tax and TP audits as they arise
- Ensure compliance with local TP requirements and manage the regional TP process including regional benchmarks Local File documentation and review of monthly TP numbers
- Lead APAC tax projects and provide regional input on global projects
- Stay abreast of international tax developments and assess their potential impact on the companys tax position
- Partner with the business to integrate tax considerations into the strategic decision making process
- Prepare and maintain tax position papers
- Manage regional tax risks

Qualifications :
A bit about you:
As we continue to scale at speed this role will inevitably evolve over time so youll need to be proactive independent and excited at the prospect of solving unfamiliar problems.
- Degree in accounting / finance and fully qualified CPA ACCA or similar
- At least 8 years of Big 4 accounting firm and / or MNC experience would be great but not mandatory
- Strong technical knowledge of APAC taxes and practical experience in handling international direct tax issues for MNCs
- Proven ability to work in an uncertain environment in countries and taxes that you have not worked on before
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex tax problems to diverse stakeholders to support decision making at all levels
- A flair for solving problems and be excited at the prospect of working on challenges outside of your usual comfort zone
- Ability to manage external advisors setting and managing budgets
- Experience in managing Financial Audits
- Able to work as part of a team as well as individually and the flexibility to manage a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proven to be able to think on your feet and roll your sleeves up
Some extra skills that would be fantastic:
- In-house experience
- Experience of working on Indian taxes
- Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
- Presentation skills and comfortable presenting in board meetings
