Full Job Description We are looking for an experienced Deputy Head Global Shared Services of US business (GSS or shared services) to drive and steer the development of our internal Global Shared Services globally in our US based pharma company. You will be the one to review/ suggest Shared Services strategy/ direction. You will closely work with the GSS Head and ensure that all systems processes necessary to support its operations and objectives are in place
You must have a solid Shared Services background and consistently keep up-to-date with advancements in the field of automation/ service delivery. Apart from your education and experience you must have every quality of a leader and a strong strategic and business acumen. GSS Team size is between 4-5 members approx.
Mandatory Skills/ Responsibilities
- Work with the Head of GSS to set objectives / strategies for GSS and take lead in implementing key initiatives.
- Review the internal process design control for high risk areas and drive the documentation of key controls/ risk control matrices
- Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits with key focus on automation
- Drive monthly quarterly and annual accounts preparation and review
- Understanding of Ind AS / IFRS reporting framework
- Direct the overall performance of services and ensure accountabilities for the quality integrity and accuracy of the services provided.
- Drive the development implementation and continual review of robust policies frameworks and operational and service delivery plans to ensure the effective management of the portfolio of activities compliance with relevant legislation policy and guidelines and effective risk management.
- Drive exception reporting including inventories AR and other critical areas
- Liaise with external auditors. Understand their requirement provide them with necessary information/ documents.
- Work with the internal auditors to implement their observations/ suggestions to make the overall systems more efficient / effective
- Oversee and be responsible for accounts payable cash disbursement accounts receivable and cash receipting functions
- Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure
- Solid understanding of data analysis budgeting and business operations
- Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- A strong strategic and business mindset
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Shift timings - 1pm to 10pm- Monday to Friday.
