Responsibilities
As a Senior Flight Controls Engineer with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have an opportunity to do the following:
- Provide innovative technical solutions to solve complex problems on advance aircraft
- Provide technical and programmatic support and oversight on Navy aircraft platforms including F-35 E-2 and F-18.
- Perform control law design and analysis
- Analyze redundancy management of safety critical control systems
- Support Built-In-Test (BIT) design
- Perform Flight Control System integration testing (including simulation hardware-in-the-loop and on-aircraft)
- Analyze flight control systems including flight control computers software hydraulic and electromechanical actuators and mechanical flight control linkages
- Support the flight control system software support activity
Qualifications
- The ability to obtain a Secret clearance (Requires US Citizenship)
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Math Physics or other technical discipline
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in at least one of the following
- Flight Control Law design and analysis
- Flight Control system simulation and hardware in the loop
- Flight Control system testing (ground flight and lab environment)
- Flight Control Software development integration analysis and test
