The Role
BGIS is seeking skilled Electrical Technicians to join our Self Perform team servicing Brisbane delivering high-quality electrical maintenance repairs and minor works across commercial client facilities.
In this role youll provide end-to-end electrical maintenance support as part of a collaborative building services team. Youll be responsible for planned and reactive electrical maintenance across systems including emergency lighting smoke alarms switchboards and general electrical infrastructure ensuring all works are delivered safely efficiently and to BGIS quality standards.

What Youll Be Doing
- Deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across client facilities
- Conduct fault finding repairs and upgrades across electrical systems
- Service and maintain emergency lighting smoke alarms switchboards and general electrical infrastructure
- Complete work orders within required timeframes using BGIS systems
- Support and mentor apprentices and junior technicians where required
- Oversee and coordinate subcontractors when required
- Ensure all works comply with WHS compliance environmental and quality standards
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement and safe work practices across service delivery
Your Education Experience & Skills
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology
- Qualified Supervisors Licence (or equivalent electrical licence)
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Current Drivers Licence
- 1 or more years of post-trade electrical maintenance experience
- Strong fault-finding and electrical maintenance skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Full working rights in Australia (essential)
