We provide services to home health agencies hospitals long-term care facilities employers and outpatient clinics. Our commitment is to deliver exceptional patient care. Physical Therapist Assistant

We are GROWING and are looking for individuals to fill our growing clinics.

SETTING:

Outpatient setting in a hospital primarily seeing inpatients
Monday-Friday

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implementing Treatment Plans:Assisting in carrying out physical therapy treatment plans as designed by the Physical Therapist.
Patient Monitoring and Progress Reporting:Observe and record patient responses to treatments Regularly update the supervising PT about patients progress concerns and any changes in conditions.
Educating Patients:Instruct patients on exercises and activities to be done at home to complement their therapy sessions ensuring proper techniques to avoid injury and improve recovery.
Assist with Mobility:Help patients with exercises aimed at improving mobility strength balance and coordination.
Clinic Policies:Adhere to the established clinic policies regulations and confidentiality protocols
Documentation:Maintain accurate patient records.
Maintain Equipment and Safety:Ensure that physical therapy equipment is clean safe and in good working condition.
Collaboration with Team:Work closely with your co-workers to optimize patient care and provide a great patient experience.
Assist with Front Desk:Help with greeting patients scheduling appointments answering phones and checking insurance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with a PTA license in Iowa (new grads are welcome to apply)
Valid drivers license
