JOB SUMMARY

The Measurement Analyst role is responsible for ensuring the integrity accuracy and reliability of systemlevel measurement data. This position applies strong analytical judgment and business acumen to support effective measurement processes financial accuracy and operational decisionmaking.

Success in this role comes from ownership collaboration and a continuous improvement mindset. Measurement Analysts are expected to think beyond individual issues recognize broader impacts and contribute to process enhancements that strengthen measurement performance across the organization. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Performs complex meter processing and owns system-level balancing with minimal oversight across larger or more complex systems.

  • Leads peer level meetings identifies trends and escalates systemic risks and collaborates with other analysts.

  • Executes deep root-cause analyses on exceptions loss and unaccounted for (L&U) issues and adjustments.

  • Mentors Analysts on processes balances and system performance.

  • Partners with various support groups on measurement best practices and recurrent system errors.

  • Recognizes process improvement opportunities and drives initiatives.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance or a combination of formal education and/or the following job-related experience

Experience

  • Experience with a gas measurement application and familiarity with reporting capabilities

  • Experience monitoring and analyzing gas measurement reports and recommending changes to maximize efficiency and accuracy

  • Experience using word processing spreadsheet and communication applications such as Word Excel Outlook and SharePoint programs for reporting and analysis

Experience and/or training related to:

  • Gas measurement methods and standards

  • Electronic measurement data handling applications

  • Understanding gas flow for gathering and processing and transmission system receipts and deliveries

  • Understanding field measurement processes

  • Experience reading and interpreting contractual measurement language industry standards and regulatory documents

  • Experience compiling and preparing various types of measurement reports pertaining to gas balances system performance etc.

  • Experience interacting advising and communicating effectively

Licenses and Certifications

  • None required

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of: plant processing and extraction facilities and physical properties of natural gas

  • Ability to: apply math and algebraic formulas used in spreadsheet applications

  • Ability to: communicate and exchange verbal information and instructions
