We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team for a dynamic banking project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining high-performance banking applications ensuring secure and efficient transaction processing and integration with core banking systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or related field.
3 years of experience in Java development preferably within the financial sector.
Strong understanding of Java Spring Framework and RESTful services.
Experience with SQL databases version control tools (e.g. Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of security protocols and best practices in banking software.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS Azure).
Familiarity with regulatory requirements in banking (e.g. PCI DSS GDPR).
Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop test and deploy Java-based applications for banking operations.
Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Integrate applications with existing banking systems and third-party APIs.
Ensure code quality security and compliance with industry standards.
Troubleshoot optimize and maintain legacy systems and new applications.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
