What Youll Do

We are seeking a dynamic collaborative and forward-thinking Director Property Execution & Management to lead the property execution and management across our owned properties. This role will be instrumental in maintaining day-to-day communication with our clients facilitating the execution of client deliverables across internal/external stakeholders and positioning HS&E as a premier property-side partner.

The ideal candidate is equal parts project manager relationship builder and sponsorship expert someone passionate about helping build and launch emerging sports/entertainment properties with a focus on enhancing commercialization to drive incremental revenue and enhance the fan experience.

Reporting to the SVP Business Development and Properties the person in this role will work as part of a highly collaborative team of sports and brand marketing experts based in NYC.

Role Overview:

The Director Property Execution & Management will play a pivotal role as a project manager in driving the execution of HS&Es properties currently including The Pickleball Slam Womens Champions Classic and Unrivaled.

This position will also support onboarding and day-to-day client management by working closely with internal departments (i.e. sales creative strategy etc.) to facilitate the execution of property specific deliverables for HS&Es growing and evolving Property and IP portfolio.

The Director will further lead aspects of client management and be responsible for but not limited to sponsor/client management development of meeting collateral and coordinating the inclusion of research creative assets contracts and other key deliverables.

The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration project oversight and relationship management. The Director will oversee day-to-day IP and property consulting activities mentor junior staff and serve as a key connector between sales strategy creative and experiential teams.

This role is critical in driving organizational efficiency ensuring best-in-class delivery and positioning HS&E as a trusted partner for brands across the sports and entertainment landscape.

Job Responsibilities

  • Property Execution (45%)
    • Own end-to-end execution of HS&E-owned IPs overseeing planning partner integration on-site delivery and post-event wrap to ensure each property is executed at a premium level and aligned with long-term growth objectives.
    • Operationalize partner agreements within owned properties translating contracts into executable activation plans timelines staffing models and budgets while safeguarding property integrity brand standards and P&L performance.
    • Lead cross-functional IP execution across internal teams and external vendors serving as the central point of accountability for delivery issue resolution and partner satisfaction across all owned events and platforms.
    • Responsible for Creating Foundational Property Decks in Collaboration with Creative and Strategy Teams and Head of Sales.
    • Oversee the prioritization queue of all strategic and creative requests for partners and prospects while ensuring that timelines are met and staff resources are allocated effectively.
    • Support the Sales team with all recap/renewal materials.
    • Assist in managing and developing sponsorship materials with HS&E Property Partners.

  • Property Management (30%)
    • Build strong senior-level relationships with current and prospective partners.
    • Lead high-level presentations and negotiations that align sponsorships with client marketing objectives.
    • Ensure seamless handoff to client services and partner servicing teams for fulfillment.
    • Lead internal contract process with properties and key vendors.
    • Respond to and manage inbound client RFPs.
    • Attend partner and prospect meetings to pitch ideas and provide platform context as needed.

  • Strategic Collaboration (20%)
    • Work closely with internal teams to customize sales materials and packaging.
    • Coordinate with experiential/events teams to design integrated activations.
    • Partner with creative/strategy teams to deliver compelling partnership narratives.
    • Proactively identify new creative opportunities and revenue-driving solutions for HS&E properties as well as for both new and returning clients.
    • In collaboration with the sales teams lead internal brainstorms and champion innovative ideas and build breakthrough partnership solutions that meet partner needs and generate revenue on behalf of Horizon Sports & Experiences properties from conception to pitch.
    • Liaise with HS&E creative team for the creation and delivery of compelling partnership narratives ensuring consistency and high-quality across all sales materials including one-sheets decks case studies and sizzle videos.

  • Team & Mentorship (5%)
    • Mentor and oversee junior sales staff providing guidance on prospecting pitching and deal structuring.
    • Partner with the Director of Property Consulting & Client Services to align sales with servicing and delivery.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders across creative strategy and experiential to ensure best-in-class solutions.

Candidate Profile

  • 7 years of experience in integrated marketing sponsorship sales strategic partnerships account management or related roles within agencies (media experiential brand consulting) or sports leagues.
  • Proven track record as an innovative leader in Sports Media and Live Events.
  • Strong process and project management skills able to plan organize prioritize and execute with attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinker with expertise in aligning brand objectives to drive revenue growth.
  • Digitally proficient with deep knowledge of social media platforms branded content and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborative adaptable team player thriving in fast-paced dynamic environments.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with AI Tools (i.e. ChatGPT Claud)
  • Experience leveraging research and data to craft impactful sales narratives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including strong presentation abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry trends and the ability to serve as a subject matter expert.
  • Bachelors degree required preferably in Sports Management Business or Marketing.

Salary Range

$135000.00 - $150000.00

A successful applicants actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individuals skill sets experience training education licensure/certifications and qualifications for the role.
