Position Overview
We are seeking aSteel Shop Cutterto join our structural steel fabrication team. This position involves cutting shaping and preparing steel components used in our innovative building systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented mechanically skilled and capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Cut and shape structural steel parts to specifications
- Operate shop equipment including grinders punches press brakes drill presses magnetic drills and standard drills
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Maintain safe and organized work practices
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in steel fabrication (preferred)
- Proficiency with shop tools (grinders punches press brakes drills)
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Strong attention to detail and safety standards
- Reliable punctual and team-oriented
